Argan Seed Oil
![]() Argan oil is produced from the kernels of the argan tree (Argania Spinosa L.) in Southwest Morocco. Its tree forest was threatened with deforestation for urban expansion and development during the period from 1918 to 1924, and law had to be implemented to regulate the rights of the use to the local people. Argan forest has great ecological value and is the crucial line between the dessert and the great expanse. To preserve argan tree and for more trees to be planted, the natives has to see the benefit of the tree, such as wealth generated from the production of the fruits , leaves and bark of the tree.
